Startup Junkie Underground

"Mastering Change: Challenges, Choices and Champions"
The ground swell of several sweeping changes facing us today

There are only three things that are certain in life: death; taxes; and change.  Change is the continuing challenge of the decade, and that will not end in the next ten years.  Many do not adjust well to change.  In fact, not everyone welcomes it.  Some resist change, even fight it and will most likely pay the penalty for adopting this stance.

Mastering change is not an event; it is an ongoing process (as it is with chaos). Change is mandated for many reasons. Examples would be new technology, finances, customer demands, generational changes, updated products and services, new lifecycle, government regulations, mood of the country…there is not a shortage of causes. Organizations avoid change for many reasons: ignorance, arrogance, stubbornness, stupidity, fearfulness, satisfied with where they are, doesn’t understand the need or the benefits.

Six Truths About Change - In this presentation, Larry Nelson will focus on six questions that we should use when preparing for a ‘change’ strategy session or a team problem solving session. These six questions are the key for finding reasons to do or not do something as well as to continue or discontinue a project.

Join us as we take an indepth look at mastering change in a world where change has become as common as the air we breath.

Reinventing the World One Business at a Time

Startup entrepreneurs are a unique breed of people. Many are tortured by their ideas. They are driven by their needs to accomplish their visions, and this relentless desire to fulfill their dreams permeates virtually every aspect of their lives. And with the present economic climate as it is, many startup entrepreneurs have ruined their lives trying to succeed. They've ruined their marriages, gone bankrupt, lost their homes, and have generally made a mess out of their lives.

These people are our heroes. They will once again rise up from the depths of their depression and figure out a way to succeed. These are the people that will once again take center stage in the business world. The Startup Junkies Underground is all about helping these people succeed.

If you are an aspiring entrepreneur working on a startup business, an inventor trying to launch an invention, or a critical thinker wanting to launch a new movement, this event is for you.

No other group like this exists. If you can imagine a person standing up in front of the crowd saying, "Hi, my name is Bob, and I'm a startup junkie. And I'm damn proud to be here tonight." (Maybe not quite like that, but you get the picture.)
